Having help regarding local tours and booking arrangements from Wesley. Close proximity to the shops and beach, buses and Bowl Club. Enjoyment in the pool and spa facility
its handy to the shops and beach.
having to carry bags up stairs
It is in a good location at Mooloolaba and is close to the beach, shopping and cafes/restaurants.
Beachside Mooloolaba, while in a good location, is on a busy road. Our unit was facing the road, so it was a little bit noisy. We turned on the air conditioner in the bedroom at night, in an attempt to block some of the outside noise. However the air conditioner was very noisy and we switched it off and put up with the outside noise. The state of the unit was good, except for the blockout curtains in the bedroom - they had holes in them. I don't expect to see curtains with holes in them when I pay a reasonable amount of money for the accommodation. Overall, the accommodation was okay.
The pool the spa. large apartment.
The hot water tap had some plumbing issues and sounded like a jackhammer
Being Picky, keys for doors.outside rooms nee sensor lights for late coming back .
The renovations have been a success and the apartment looked really great and quite spacious. I was really impressed at the cleanliness of the apartment when we arrived and the furniture is lovely, the area is quite spacious and well laid out. The bed is really comfortable, conducive to a good night's sleep. Close enough to walk to the beach, shops and plenty of eating areas The managers and relief manager were all very friendly and helpful The spa bath in the apartment was quite a surprise. The outside spa & pool were very inviting.
2 flights of stairs to apartment
Decor from the 1980's, needs to renovated.
It was close to where I wanted to go & the location was good.
The view from the room. The cost of the room for what it was.
Staff were helpful and the location of the hotel was fantastic
Someone had been smoking in the room.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. It was really close to the whole town, definitely walking distance.
Location +++ & great pool/spa
bed very hard! lack of sun in room
This business is run by a lovely couple who are there to assist people at any time of the day. The service is second to none and I would definately return again next year. Fantastic place to sty that is central to everything.
The only problem I had, which was no fault of the motel was the occasional noise made by the neighbours.
We had a nice one bedroom apartment. I'm not sure if the facility had any bigger apartments for families. We didn't see any children. It's postioned about a block back from the sea which is reflected in the price. The pool, although small was adequate, although the area around it was tight, but I imagine many staying would go to the beach instead. We stayed for a week and were left to do all cleaning. We had a washing machine and dyrer so were able to look after ourselves. We also swept and mopped so for people wanting to be looked after this is not the right place. Overall we thought it was a good facility and would go back.
Our apartment was at the back so we faced east which was nice in the morning but at this time of the year(July), a north facing apartment would have been preferable so we could've enjoyed the sunsets. Also the nights were cold. From 3pm it started to really cool down and could get down to 11c or 12c but the apartment was very comfortable and had a heat pump/ ac.
We had a very relaxed and comfortable stay thank you. Our unit was warm and we particularly appreciated the heat pump for the cool winter evenings, even though we are from CHCH. Rita and Wesley are lovely hosts, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location is excellent so close to all shopping and attractions and within walking distance of everything we needed. We also found the cost affordable through the Hotelclub booking system. Thank you again Margi P-V
Good room, and close to the beach. The apartment was clean and the furniture was comfortable and effective. Absolutely loved the rotating tv, what a great idea. However, the screen size was rather small which made viewing from the settee a bit difficult.
The only disappointment was in the type of kitchen appliances deployed. The fry pan and the electric fry pan were the old fashioned style, using just aluminium as the bases. It would not be a big expense to have pans with non stick surfaces to enhance the cooking of snacks/meals whereas the existing pans ruined a good breakfast. An extra power point on the kitchen bench would also be useful
